Occasionally you will receive reminders or duplicates for a PCN.  If you do and you have already used the Make Rep function in Fleetworks then do the following.

Please note that Bus Lanes offences in London will often be handled with the issuer sending out an informal notice in the first instance. This is not reassignable and if you respond it will usually be ignored and you will receive an Enforcement Notice which you can appeal. When you get the Enforcement Notice simply use the process below.

Review the details of the fine - some issuers are notified by a Fleetworks email.  If you make a mistake when entering the PCN details they may not be able to locate the fine in their system and may simply ignore your first submission. You must check everything is correct.  Did the rental extend or was it subject to a changed vehicle?

You can also check the Notes and Documents tabs in Fleetworks. If the fine was repped via email or the web-app then it is possible that a receipt email or webcode was recorded by Fleetworks. These will be stored in the Notes and Documents section.   If the date on the reminder is close to the receipt confirmations then you are probably dealing with post that was dispatched prior to your appeal being registered. However, it is also possible if the fine was assigned to you by a fleet supplier that your original reply was received when the fine was still in your suppliers name.  Either way, our advise is to always resend the Notice of Rep to protect your interests.

Assuming everything is correct then resend the Notice of Representation by ticking the Make Rep action box again and pressing save.  When you do this a new Notice is sent to the issuer via the nominated method for that issuer - web-app connection, email or print and post.

You can review the Notes and Documents in the following days to see any new rep receipts.
