Using Reminders

Notes and Tasks are common to all Fleetworks modules. They always work in the same way and are very similar but with an important difference.


Email reminders will only be sent to a single user.  If a user is sick or on holiday then you may wish to monitor all scheduled reminders in order to take the correct action.  All users can see all scheduled reminders though. 


Go to Settings then Reminders and then choose the modules whose reminders you want to review.   

You can review past and future Reminders by altering the date range and if you set bespoke reminders you can search for the text you added into the Note when you set it up.    Often users have regular reminders they set and will use common wording across all users so any user can track a specific reminder type.   


Use cases for Reminders might be:

  • you have filed a Statutory Declaration and want a reminder after 19 days to chase the Court about acceptance
  • chasing a Notice of Acceptance from an issuer that had a query with an agreement
  • a reminder to chase for payment of an admin fee or other debt
  • checking a client has paid a ticket as promised.
